Cathy Cooper

Registered Psychologist

I have worked for over 20 years in clinical, educational, youth justice, youth health and ACC settings.

My experience, knowledge and passion as a psychologist lie in working collaboratively and enthusiastically with clients to support them to achieve positive outcomes for themselves. I use cognitive behaviour therapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing and solution focused brief therapy to build on the strengths the client already has. I also enjoy undertaking learning assessments for students.

I look forward to meeting you!

Jules Ford

Registered Counsellor (PMNZCCA)

Hi, I’m Jules. I provide a calm, supportive space where you can speak openly about what’s weighing on you. You don’t have to carry everything on your own. My work is trauma-informed, compassionate, and grounded in neuroscience.

Whether you’re navigating stress, relationship challenges, or significant life changes, I offer support tailored to where you are right now. Together, we’ll move at your pace, creating space for growth, healing, and meaningful change.

I integrate CBT, Narrative Therapy, and Insight-Focused Neurotherapy into my practice. I also offer personal debriefing from a Christian perspective, designed to help individuals process change, transition, trauma, grief, and loss.

I work from a person-centred and strengths-based perspective, with a bi-cultural lens that values and respects diverse cultural identities. Alex Todhunter

Registered Counsellor (NZAC)

I offer a safe, respectful, and collaborative space where clients can explore what matters most to them. I work alongside clients aged 7 and older to understand their experiences, build practical skills, and support meaningful personal growth at a pace that feels right for them.

My support draws therapeutic approaches such as Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Te Whare Tapa Whā to support emotional wellbeing while recognising the importance of thoughts, feelings, relationships and culture. I am particularly interested in helping people develop new ways of responding to challenges, reconnect with their strengths, and move towards a life that feels more purposeful and aligned with their values.

I see counselling as a collaborative process where you are the expert in your own life, and my role is to support, guide, and walk alongside you.

Chris Stanley

Registered Psychologist

I completed my Masters in Psychology in 2013 at Waikato University. Since then I have worked in education, ACC, private practice, and am currently involved in developing wellness material for businesses and orgnaisations.

I enjoy seeing others thrive and will partner with clients to find a way through their struggles. I like using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in the work I do because it’s very practical and clients can see real progress in their lives.
